My 10th(!) full length. This album was recorded at home in the Summer of 2019, as evident from the fan and street noise throughout. The title to me expresses something that I have always struggled with: the songs in my head are never reproduced onto tape the way I hear them. I have this great idea but only a fucked up version of it on tape, you get it! This started as my take on a country album and morphed into a reflection of what I have and what I have become. One part self reflection and one part self-work. I am excited for everyone to hear these songs and you can expect more of the same from me in the future.
